Live-ant shipping update
Winter pause. Planning for spring 2027.
Live-ant shipments are currently paused because of cold weather. We expect to resume in spring 2027, when temperatures along the shipping route are suitable.
There is no fixed restart date yet. Dispatch will depend on weather, colony availability and the shipping arrangements confirmed for your destination.
Before placing a new live-ant order
New live-ant reservations during this pause are for spring dispatch. Please contact us before paying so we can confirm:
- The species and colony size available for your order.
- Your destination and the proposed spring shipping window.
- The total price and any applicable cancellation terms.
If you need immediate dispatch, please do not place a live-ant order during this pause.
Already placed an order?
Please email us with your order number to discuss holding your unshipped order for spring or cancelling it. Existing orders remain subject to the terms agreed at purchase and applicable consumer rights; this notice does not retrospectively change those terms.
Cancellations and PayPal fees
PayPal may retain its original processing fee when a payment is refunded.
For a customer-requested cancellation of a confirmed spring pre-order, we may deduct only the actual PayPal processing fee that was charged and not returned to us, and only where applicable law and PayPal rules permit this. Any applicable deduction and its calculation method will be disclosed before payment.
No processing-fee deduction applies if we cancel your order, cannot fulfil it as agreed, or you are entitled to a full refund under applicable law. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Once a cancellation is confirmed, we will initiate the refund within 48 hours to the original payment method. The time for the funds to appear depends on PayPal and your bank or card provider.
Ant nests and accessories
This winter pause applies to live ants. For nests and accessories, please contact us to confirm availability and dispatch timing separately.
